Josh is synonymous with his glasses. They are an essential part of his outfit and a main piece of the lore. He never cleans his glasses, with only handlers and White Knights occasionally cleaning his glasses for him, as he considers dirty glasses as being "luxurious".

Josh has been seen wearing glasses beginning in his earliest presence on TikTok, back then he wore thin rimmed glasses. Josh later got thick square glasses around later 2021. The coating above the nose bridge of those glasses slowly began to chip away revealing the clear plastic underneath. Josh lost or broke those glasses due to what he claimed was a "bar fight." Josh replaced those glasses with larger, rounded glasses, which some commentators on reddit said they looked like "women's glasses". During his visit in Bermuda, Josh experienced an incident where he fell and broke his glasses, later discussed in a September 5, 2024, livestream. Josh attributed the fall to simply tripping, while his handler, Mr. Based, suggested it was due to medication, sparking minor controversy amongst the community. Josh replaced those glasses with a similar pair, which he wore until his massive 4th of July crashout, when those glasses were broken. They were replaced by ray-bans glasses, no doubt because Josh's idea of "luxury" is overpriced name brands. As of November of 2025, Josh wears those glasses, although he nearly broke them during the Coronado Incident.
