“ 3, 2, 1, I'M DEAD! ” — Josh jumping off the stairs

Josh panicking and yelling gibberish due to threats from Dom Bertucci

On September 16, 2024, a TTS sent by a viewer threatening to steal Josh's phone on Mr. Based's stream, along with others, caused Josh to have a meltdown cumulating in him screaming out the n-word.

Prior Events

In a livestream, Mr. Based took Josh to a recording studio so that Josh can record the very first version of Forever Drunk, prior to the newer version recorded at Quad Recording Studios. While at the recording studio, Josh spotted a bottle of wine at the table and proceeded to pour all of it into a glass. While recording the song, Josh kept saying "do it again" every few seconds. While the engineer edited Josh's cover, Josh proceeded to drinking most of the wine. He then vomited some of it in the bathroom and poured what little wine remained on the glass as well, while Mr. Based facepalmed himself. The sound studio engineer ended up disabling the internet so that Josh and Mr. Based would leave. Because of that, Mr. Based would claim that this was “the worst studio in America”.

The Incident

While outside, Josh had a major meltdown, potentially his most intense crashout to date, caused by a viewer TTS threatening to steal Josh's phone as well as beat him up. Josh then stimmed about being from the Bronx and not being able to afford a lawyer while emoting and biting his hands. After Josh calmed down, Mr. Based received a call from a troll, in which he told the troll that he was going to block them. Afterwards, Dom Bertucci sent a TTS stating that he will call off his goons if Josh would do a galaxy gas stream. Josh then stimmed again while threatening to kill Dom Bertucci. Mr. Based then told Josh to "break character" and asked where Josh's Uber was as well as asking Josh if he was interested in going to a strip club. Dom Bertucci then sent another TTS threatening to steal everything Josh owned. Josh then ran around, throwing his hat on the ground and jumping down some stairs. When someone told him to chill, Josh then proceeded to call the person the n-word. Mr. Based then started cut the stream as he was angry by Josh's racism, to which Josh apologized. The last audio heard on the stream was Mr. Based begging an unknown person not to kill them.

Aftermath

Mr. Based then proceeded to record him at least twice and posted the videos onto TikTok, where it got re-posted onto Reddit. In the first video, titled "Josh Crash Out", Josh was seen doing a kick. Whether the kick managed to hit a person or not is unclear. The unknown person then told Josh that he had ten seconds. After Mr. Based told Josh to run, Josh proceeded to be in a screaming and running frenzy on the streets of New York. Josh then tried to break into a store by kicking due to a fear that the unknown person was chasing him with knives. He then cussed a man who was barring the door inside the store. Mr. Based then apologized to the man. Josh then states that there are men after him as Mr. Based stated that it as all in Josh's head. Josh then got out of breath and then walked with Jason. In the second video, titled "Freak out!!", Mr. Based asks a random passerby to calm a stimming and emoting Josh down, to no avail. Mr. Based suggested to the passerby to give Josh a hug. Josh would proceed to have another major incident the very next day.
