The Sinclair Method is a treatment for alcoholism which Joshua Block claimed to be using in 2024.

Background

The Sinclair Method uses naltrexone to block alcohol's rewarding effects, gradually extinguishing cravings and reducing drinking over time.[1]

Josh and the Sinclair Method

In 2024, Josh claimed he was starting the Sinclair Method to "help cut down on [his] drinking", pledging to only party on weekends and vacations, keeping weekday drinking to a minimum.[2][3] Despite this, Josh continued heavily drinking every day, and there's no evidence to suggest that he continued trying to follow the Sinclair method.
