Liquor, Liquor
Liquor, Liquor is a song recorded by Josh in New York City at an unnamed studio in April of 2025. It's a parody of Sugar, Sugar by The Archies, with the lyrics changed to be about Josh's love of alcohol. Compared to his earlier recordings at the Quad Recording Studios, Liquor, Liquor is more polished and better produced, with multiple vocal layers and Josh staying on beat better.
Lyrics[1]
[Chorus]
Liquor, ah, honey-honey
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
Honey, ah, liquor-liquor
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
[Verse 1]
I just can't believe the loveliness of loving you
(I just can't believe it's true)
I just can't believe the wonder of this feeling, too
(I just can't believe it's true)
[Chorus]
Ah, liquor, ah, honey-honey
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
Ah, honey, ah, liquor-liquor
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
[Verse 2]
When I kissed you, girl, I knew how sweet a kiss could be
(I knew how sweet a kiss could be)
Like the summer sunshine pour your sweetness over me
(Pour your sweetness over me)
[Chorus]
Liquor, ah, honey-honey
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
Oh, honey, oh, liquor-liquor
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
Liquor, ah, honey-honey
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
Oh, honey, ah, liquor-liquor
You are my bottle girl
And you got me wanting you
