On January 3, 2026, while with Tony Bame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Josh had a meltdown for the first time in over a month. He smashed his phone once again, and following that became so enraged, demanding to be taken to an Apple Store, and even attacking Tony during the 30-minute long meltdown.

Background

Josh and Tony were discussing a flight to Hong Kong scheduled for January 6. Tony mentioned that the flight had been delayed, which upset Josh, who clarified that the flight was actually scheduled for Tuesday. Following this, Josh became agitated after being frybagged, leading to a prolonged crashout.

During the incident, Josh spat at the frybagger, resisted two men who attempted to restrain him, and bit his own wrist. He also kicked the men and threatened to damage his phone. Tony did not intervene regarding the phone, as this was the third time. Josh later approached another frybagger while continuing to yell, eventually smashing his phone on the ground and demanding to go to an Apple Store to have it repaired. He also requested $1,000 from donations to purchase a new iPhone, believing the device to be irreparable. Josh started crying, lamenting over the loss of personal photos from Norway, France, and Italy.
