In 2024, Josh was brought to a hospital by Mr. Based due to a severe rash, nicknamed "The Scarlet Rot" by fans. While in the hospital, a medical practitioner stated that Josh might have monkey pox. The practitioner and Mr. Based had a brief chat, in which it was revealed that both went to the same university.[1] After the practitioner left, Josh and Mr. Based proceeded to smoke in the room, which was filmed by PowEnvy. It is unclear what condition Josh has, but it is unlikely to be Monkey Pox.[2]
According to Josh, the rash was on his arms and neck and were itchy.
