The "Brownsville Incident" refers to a video of Joshua Block loudly and angrily yelling the n-word outside West Fourth Street–Washington Square station in Manhattan on March 22, 2024. The video had little context, other than it was taken down from TikTok, then posted on r/WorldOfTShirts, becoming the most upvoted post on the subreddit of all time. Based on the video, it doesn't appear that Josh was actually yelling at anyone in particular, making the incident even more concerning.
