Despite lacking any musical talent, Josh frequently shows up to recording studios (usually with a manager), and records sloppy autotuned covers or parodies that have the words changed so the song is about alcohol, or something alcohol related. The covers to the releases are usually selfies taken during the recording sessions, or him drinking at a bar. Although some of them seem to be more "professional." | Despite lacking any musical talent, Josh frequently shows up to recording studios (usually with a manager), and records sloppy autotuned covers or parodies that have the words changed so the song is about alcohol, or something alcohol related. Josh's most well known songs include 17:00 Somewhere, Whiskey Neat and Liquor, Liquor.
Many of the songs that were recorded and produced at Quad Recording Studios were livestreamed with Mr. Based, featuring countless crashouts and incidents, in which led to both Josh and Mr. Based to be banned from the studio in January 2025.
