There are many characters in the WorldofTShirts universe that interact with [[Josh Block|Joshua Block]] in a specific manner in order to elicit crashouts. These characters are colloquially known as trolls. Many trolls are streamers attempting to increase their following.

== Douglas Skates ==
Douglas Skates is a YouTube prankster from Las Vegas, who has successfully caused Josh to have a major crash out on each of his two trips to Vegas, both of which became content for Douglas' YouTube channel. He has also made other Josh Block related videos, such as one where he blasts the audio of Josh's crash outs in a library.

==DoozyCruz==
DoozyCruz is an IRL streamer on the platforms Kick, Twitch, and Youtube. DoozyCruz primarily makes content walking the streets of NYC and interacting with homeless people and intoxicated bar patrons. On many occasions, DoozyCruz has streamed his interactions with Joshua block, often resulting in crashouts.
==S0GEK1NG==
S0GEK1NG is a streamer on Kick known for IRL content as well as desktop "War Room" streams. After one of Mr. Based's arrests, S0GEK1NG approached Mr. Based's apartment window and demonstrated that it was unlocked. This along with other interactions eventually led to S0GEK1NG's arrest outside of Mr. Based's apartment. S0GEK1NG was released shortly afterwards.

During Josh's first trip to Las Vegas, he is stream sniped and harassed whilst streaming on TikTok by YouTube prankster 'Douglas Skates'. Josh freaks out that Douglas keeps following him, leading to Josh threatening to call the police and yelling "I'M BEGGING YOU!", a line which has since become iconic in the WOTS community. Josh then proceeds to run away whilst in a panicked state.

On the 27th of September, 2024, Josh and MrBased visit Coney Island whilst live streaming. Josh is quickly recognised and provoked by multiple people, eventually leading to him charging towards a group of them whilst yelling various insults and threats. Josh is subsequently further enraged by provocative TTS donations, which results in him banging his head against a metal pole.

Fish Stomping Incident

Perhaps the earliest and most infamous incident, Josh was filmed stomping on a live fish until it died as a result, while he laughed gleefully. This footage, posted around June 2, 2021, quickly gained attention online. In the video, Josh appeared to show little concern for the fish, smiling and seemingly enjoying the act. This is possibly the earliest example of Josh’s disregard for life and [[Animal Cruelty|animal cruelty]].

== Response from Fans ==
The incident became widely criticized, and Josh later responded with several apologies. In a livestream, he claimed he had been told the [[Compulsive Lying|fish was already dead]] and that he had been "set up" by the person recording him, using this as an excuse to deflect blame and avoid being "canceled." He also asked viewers to forget about the incident, stating he couldn't be canceled because he had a "monopoly" on NYC roaming videos. However, it was revealed that the fish was alive when Josh purchased it and he had stomped it to death, even saying, "I want to smash its brains out." In a TikTok comment, Josh later claimed he was "dared to do it." The controversy surrounding the incident escalated when the hotel he was staying at was allegedly swatted after someone falsely reported a bomb threat during his livestream. This incident led to Josh being kicked out of the hotel, though the manager later apologized and provided compensation.

On July 20th, 2024, [[Josh Block|Josh]] had a severe meltdown due to consuming massive amounts of alcohol and possibly other unknown substances. The entire incident was recorded on a series of Youtube livestreams by [[Jason Itzler|Mr. Based]], where Josh was seen falling in the road, peeing in the street in broad daylight, hallucinating while screaming "Make it stop!", passing out drunk, falling down a flight of stairs, attacking a woman, and then stumbling off into the night where he was later found sitting in the street.

On January 10th, 2025 during the [[Travel Arc]], Josh had a major meltdown in Stephens Green in Dublin, Ireland. Fans filmed and provoked Josh by yelling "Put the Fries in the Bag!", causing him to attack, chase, and threaten to murder multiple people.

== Buildup to Incident ==
During Josh's visit to Dublin in January 2025, he spent much of his time wandering the streets and going from bar to bar. Occasionally, locals would recognise him and attempt to trigger him, but to no avail. While travelling around the city on January 10th, Josh visited various landmarks, posting his location on Instagram and unknowingly allowing trolls to find him. He eventually gathered a large group of people following him, which would eventually cause the crashout.

== Incident ==
While aimlessly wandering on his vacation in Dublin, Josh was accosted by a group of trolls inside [[wikipedia:St_Stephen's_Green|Stephens Green]], where he was provoked due to use of the [["Put the Fries in the Bag"]] phrase . Bystanders recorded him spending several minutes threatening and attempting to chase down the culprits, swinging his arms at people, and shouting nonsense, until he made his getaway in a taxi and went to the Guinness Storehouse.
