For a while when his phone was getting repaired, Josh was forced to use an Android phone that he referred to as the '''Streaming Phone'''. Josh has claimed that it is a Samsung Galaxy S25, but doubts has been cast on this claim as the photo and video quality produced from that phone are lower than an S25's expected quality.

During the Mr. Based Era, Josh would often get texts and calls from trolls, which can occasionally cause crashouts. Because of that, he would often abuse [[9-1-1]] to try and get rid of the trolls, which usually resulted in him and Mr. Based getting swatted. Josh was later able to figure out how to block these calls and texts. One example was at the Quad Recording Studio, re-recording Forever Drunk. He received a phone call or text from trolls stating that people were waiting outside with knives. Once Josh went outside, he then saw some fans, and assumed they had knives. Josh then stated that he was too young to die because he haven't gone to [[Japan|Tokyo]]. He then called everyone faggots, causing his fans to try to troll Josh and trigger more crashouts by screaming out phrases that cause him to crashout.

During the early hours of '''August 9, 2025,''' Josh experienced one of his worst meltdowns yet after being frybagged several times. His agitation exceeded that of the other crashouts, and after repeatedly threatening his [[phone]], he ultimately smashed it. Notably, Josh became very aggressive and even attacked [[Tony]].

== Background ==
Josh had already had a meltdown earlier in the day after being frybagged, and then they went to the bar where he got onto a mechanical bull and consumed an excessive amount of alcohol to the point where he vomited all over the floor.

== The Meltdown ==
Josh was already on edge as he walked through the streets of Nashville, repeatedly complaining about his credit card debt and saying he wanted to return to Italy and “bake himself in a pizza oven.” Later, after being frybagged by multiple people, he snapped—becoming aggressive toward the trolls and resisting attempts to restrain him. He screamed incessantly, bit his own knee and hand, and hit himself. In the midst of the chaos, he hurled his phone to the ground, smashing it. Even after getting into an Uber, his meltdown showed no signs of stopping, screaming about his broken phone and assaulting the cameraman. When they got out of the Uber, he began to hit cars and they went into the hotel, where the stream ended.

It is well known that [[Josh Block|Josh]] has [[autism]] which results in stimming, significant learning disabilities, difficulty reading emotions and social cues, and odd behavioral patterns. He also is afflicted with paranoia, believing there are people lurking everywhere waiting to get his passport or murder/kidnap/arrest him. Many believe that he may have bipolar disorder due to his sudden and frequent mood swings, or possibly schizophrenia as he has had [[Hallucinations "Make it stop" Incident|hallucinations]] in the past and has believed that [[16/9/24 Incident|men were after him with knives]]. Josh is also known to [[Self Harm|frequently harm himself]] and others.

Josh is prescribed Seroquel, an antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. This is one of few items Josh considers essential.

Josh is also afflicted with [[alcoholism]] and a strong [[Josh's Nicotine Addiction|nicotine addiction]] that he satisfies by regular smoking, vaping, and zyn use. He has also used [[Galaxy Gas Stream|galaxy gas]] in the past which resulted in him hallucinating bright flashes of light.

Paranoia is an instinct or thought process that is believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety, suspicion, or fear, often to the point of delusion and irrationality. Paranoid thinking typically includes persecutory beliefs, or beliefs of conspiracy concerning a perceived threat towards oneself (e.g., ''"Everyone is out to get me"''). Paranoia is distinct from phobias, which also involve irrational fear, but usually no blame.

Josh is always in a constant state of paranoia, and holds a belief that there are people everywhere waiting to steal his phone, passport, money or personal effects. This possibly stems from [[trolls]], who frequently harass or threaten him, and leak his location.
